Dispatcher for Flatbed and reefer trailers

 REEFER, VAN and FLATBED TRUCKING DISPATCHER 

Location: Plainfield, IL (hybrid - on site and remote)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday ( weekends when needed, if issues cone up)
Compensation: 3% - 4% of weeekly gross.

We are seeking an experienced dispatcher to join our operations team. We will train the right candidate, but OTR dispatch experience is needed.

 The candidate’s responsibilities : 

-Dispatch and manage daily loads.
-Monitor driver locations, transit times, weather, delays, and compliance.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers and brokers
-Negotiate rates with brokers.
-Coordinate pickup/delivery appointments, load tenders, and paperwork
-Maintain accurate tracking in TMS.
-Provide ongoing support during breakdowns, route changes, or emergencies.
-Ensure full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and hazmat regulations
-Work closely with Safety, Maintenance, and Accounting teams
-Maximize weekly revenue and RPM across all assigned trucks

 Requirements

-Experience in trucking dispatch.
-Strong negotiation skills + load board experience (DAT, Truckstop, etc.)
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent communication and driver-management skills
-Ability to handle after-hours emergencies when needed
