Junior FEA Engineer (Structural and Mechanical)

Since 2009, our team has developed engineering analysis software and provides engineering consultancy services. We enable innovation by delivering a tool for structural verification according to industry rules and regulations, helping to automate routine engineering work and ensure structural safety at the lowest cost, as well as optimizing the design of various complexities, including ships, cranes, oil platforms, heavy equipment, aircraft, and parts of all types and shapes.  

SDC Verifier product - has been widely used in various projects in multiple industries, such as Oil & Gas, Offshore & Marine, Heavy Lifting, Civil Engineering, Machinery Equipment and Aerospace. Our team provides solutions for automation, optimization, and safety in structural analysis worldwide. 

We are currently seeking a proactive, ambitious Junior FEA Engineer (Structural or Mechanical) who will join our talented Engineering team in Krakow.

 Skills you’ll need to bring: 

• Technical education, mechanical (preferably) / civil engineering, or a related field 
• Basic understanding of structural design codes is a plus (Eurocodes, DNV, etc.) 
• Basic experience with FEA or CAE software (ANSYS, Femap, LIRA SAPR, RFem etc.) 
• Ability to read technical drawings 
• English - intermediate or higher 
• Good written and verbal communication skills 

 What duties are expected:  

• Work on real-life international engineering projects across multiple industries
• Finite element modelling according to drawings or STEP files from the customer 
• Preparing calculation schemes 
• Finite element analysis based on the developed calculation scheme 
• Post-processing the received calculation results 
• Reporting to the customers after acquiring sufficient skills and knowledge about the SDC software in collaboration with a senior engineer (in English)
• Reading and interpreting technical documentation
• Participation in internal technical reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
