Ukraine has been part of Serve Freight for the last four years, with a team of 10+ people supporting our operations remotely (currently). We're now officially opening our first office in Lviv — our newest location and a home base for growing this team on the ground.

Position Summary

Serve Freight is seeking a Freight Broker/Dispatcher (USA) to own carrier capacity execution for customer freight moving across the US market. This role is responsible for sourcing carriers, negotiating rates, booking and dispatching loads, and ensuring reliable coverage from pickup to delivery across assigned lanes. This is an execution-focused individual contributor role. As Serve Freight continues to scale, high performers will be considered for future team lead responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Source carriers, negotiate rates, and secure capacity coverage across assigned US lanes
• Book, dispatch, and manage loads end to end, from tender through delivery
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries, track shipments, and run timely check calls
• Manage freight across varying complexity levels, from standard FTL to specialized and project loads
• Protect margin while maintaining service reliability and strong carrier relationships
• Build and maintain a dependable network of repeat carrier partners
• Resolve carrier issues and service exceptions quickly and professionally
• Partner closely with customer sales and operations teams to ensure clean execution
• Maintain accurate, timely records within TMS and load board systems
• Provide ongoing market feedback on pricing, capacity, and lane conditions

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of freight brokerage, dispatch, carrier sales, or US logistics experience
• Ability to independently source, cover, and dispatch freight while managing margin
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Advanced English (written and spoken)
• Comfortable working US business hours
• Experience with load boards (DAT, Truckstop) and TMS platforms preferred
• Organized, dependable, and accountable
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment
